Use natural cleaners:
For daily cleaning avoid harsh chemicals, instead use natural cleaners like lime, baking soda, white vinegar etc. You can make an all Purpose cleaner using 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda or 2 teaspoon borax powder in approx 2 liters water. Store this mixture in any spray bottle and your all natural homemade cleaner is ready. You can clean glass, furniture, table tops and any things using this. Avoid chemical base wall paints:
Don’t use harsh chemical based paint for your house. Chemical based paint contains VOC and when it s react with oxygen, they can form ‘bad’ ozone in the sunlight. Breathing solvent paint fumes for too long can cause headaches, dizziness, and nausea. So select your paint wisely. Asian Paints introduced Royale Atmos cleans the air and make it purer. It’s Activated Carbon technology reduces harmful pollutants from the air. Additionally, Royale Atmos also absorbs select household foul smells to make the air fresher. Royale Atmos is the first Asian Paints product which have a nice fragrance, instead of the normal chemical smell of paints.
Sea salt in a fruit rind:
Instead of peeling your fruits like lemons, cut it half and scoop out the inner part. Fill the inner side with sea salt and use some rosemary herbs or cloves in it. This will soak up all the bad smell from your house.
Lavender lemon candles:
You can also use the lemon rind to hold a candle in it. With a bit of lavender essence, this candle will give you a refreshing fragrance.
It is always better to have some plants in your house. Plants help to filter the air inside and give you a slight smell all around the house. Having herbs are the best in this regard.
